Email is our preferred method for receiving DMCA notices as it allows for faster processing. We will respond to valid DMCA notices as promptly as reasonably possible.

Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

  • Review the notice to verify it contains all required elements
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material in a timely manner if the notice appears valid
  • Notify the person who posted the content that their material has been removed due to a DMCA complaint
  • Provide the person whose content was removed with information about how to submit a counter-notice

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA claim, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

  • Your full legal name and contact information
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, the judicial district of Eastern District of North Carolina
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringer Policy
